Now shopping malls, restaurants, and religious places in the state will be able to open till 8 o’clock at night. It also includes shopping malls in Dehradun. Till now they were not allowed to open. After the announcement of the Chief Minister, now the government has issued a guideline in this regard. It also clarifies that the elderly and children, pregnant, death in the family, people with severe illness as well as people undergoing mental depression are among those coming from cities with the red zone marked in terms of corona infection cases. Will also be exempt from institutional quarantine. However, before that, the District Nodal Officer and Health Department will make a decision on this.

On Monday, Chief Secretary and Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority Chairman Utpal Kumar Singh issued new orders amending the guidelines issued on June 7 for the unlocked forest. It has been clarified that markets and religious places in the state will now be opened from 7 AM to 8 PM. There will not be this exemption in the Containment Zone. This time restriction will not be applicable to the goods transportation, passenger buses, and trucks and goods carriers operating on state and national highways.

All people in the state will be allowed to walk from five o’clock in the morning, though during this time they will have to follow the physical distance standards and apply masks. This activity will not happen in the Containment Zone. In terms of institutional quarantine, standards have been amended for people coming from serious cities in terms of Corona infection. In this, people suffering from mental depression are also exempted from institutional quarantine.
