Uttarakhand will be affected due to heavy weather, relief from severe heat, next 24 hours of rain


In Uttarakhand, the weather has changed since Tuesday morning. In the hills along with Dehradun, on Monday night, the people have been relieved from the heat. On Tuesday, from Kumaon to Garhwal, all over the place are cloudy.

The Meteorological Department thinks that the rain may shower in the next 24 hours, there can be a storm as well. There is a possibility of relief from heat after storm and rain. State Meteorological Center director Vikram Singh said that on May 14, in the afternoon or evening, a storm can occur at 40 to 50 km/h, while some places in Uttarakhand may receive moderate rainfall.

On Monday, Haldwani’s maximum temperature was 38.0 and the minimum temperature was 19.0 degree Celsius. The maximum temperature was one degree Celsius above normal, while the minimum temperature was less than one degree Celsius.

Maximum temperature in Mukteshwar was 21.9 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 11.0 degree Celsius. The maximum temperature was less than one degree Celsius below normal. Nainital’s maximum mercury was recorded at 26 and a minimum 16 degree Celsius.

Moderate rain in Nainital
In Sarovar Nagar, there was rain for two hours on Monday late evening. In some places, there was hail fall too. This has made the weather quite pleasant. The cold winds accompanied by the rain dropped temperatures. The Naini lake water level was 2 ft 4&1/2 inches at 8 in the morning. When it rained, rising one inch more, it was 2 ft and 5 inches. Light drizzling took place in Bhimtal, Bhowali, Dhari, Jeolikot and Dhanachuli.
