State Meteorological Center says that once again weather can take a turnover. According to them, the weather could change after March 19. Rains can occur along with hailstorm. On Monday, the weather remained clear in most of the state including Dehradun. From the morning there was bright sunshine. On Sunday, Haldwani’s maximum temperature was 28.6 and the minimum temperature was 14.2 degree Celsius. Maximum temperature was less than one degree Celsius and the minimum temperature was two degrees Celsius above normal.
The maximum temperature recorded at Mukteshwar was 17.6 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 7.1 degree Celsius. Maximum temperature was less than one degree Celsius and minimum temperature was one degree Celsius above normal. Nainital’s maximum temperature was 12 and the minimum mercury was recorded at six degrees Celsius.
Snowfall returns winter
The weather changed again in the Chamoli district on Sunday. In the afternoon, Badrinath, Hemkund Sahib, Valley of flowers, Ghangariya, Gaurason Bugyal, Rudranath, Lal Mati, including Nithi and Mana Ghatis received snowfall, while in the lower areas there was rainfall. The coolness has returned in the weather.
On the other hand, Gangotri-Yamunotri experienced snowfall in Uttarkashi district and rains in lower areas have increased the cold. There were clouds in the sky since Sunday morning in Chamoli district. In the afternoon, snowfall started in the highlands, while in the lower areas it rained with strong winds. It has returned cold.
