Satellite phone sets will be given to the heads of 49 villages today
Relief news has come to the villagers of remote villages of Dharchula Munsiyari in Uttarakhand to solve the communication problem. SDRF IG Sanjay Gunjyal had sent a proposal for disaster-affected and inaccessible villages without communication.
On getting the government’s approval, SDRF ASI Pramod Kumar ASI Jaydev Negi has reached Dharchula to distribute GSPS (Global Satellite Phone Service) satellite phone sets to 49 communication-less villages in the frontier.
On Thursday, satellite phone sets will be distributed to village heads through SDM and public representatives in the block auditorium.
Frontier happy to reach satellite phone
BJP Municipal President Krishna Garbial said that the residents of Dharchula, Darma Valley, Malla Darma, Vyas, and Chaudas as well as some villages in Munsiyari are happy with the news of the arrival of satellite phones.
