Uttarakhand: Preparation to form separate cell to remove flaws in Group ‘C’ recruitment proposal

Abstract
There will be an improvement in the proposal of vacant posts of all departments, recruitment will accelerate
Proposals have to be sent back to the commissions due to reservation roster and recruitment rules

In order to speed up the recruitment of Group ‘C’ posts, preparations are being made to form a separate cell in the government to prepare a proposal for vacant posts. This will remove the gaps in the proposals being sent by the departments to the Commission. The Cell Reservation Roster will remove the loopholes related to the Recruitment Rules before sending proposals to the Commissions.

The Subordinate Services Selection Commission currently has recruitment proposals for 2500 vacant posts of various departments. Neither the reservation roster nor the recruitment rules are being followed in these proposals being sent on behalf of the departments. Due to flaws in these proposals, the Commission has to send the proposal back for amendment. The recruitment of vacant posts is delayed due to a long time in this process.

Review of recruitment process every month
The recruitment process is being reviewed every month at the government level. The government has implemented reservation in direct recruitment of economically weaker general category, handicap, and orphan children. In such a situation, the departments did not send proposals for vacant posts as per the reservation roster to the Commission. Due to this, the proposals were sent back to the departments to the Commission.

For this problem, an exercise is being made to create a separate cell for monitoring the recruitment proposals at the government level. According to Personnel Department sources, it was discussed to create a separate cell in the review meeting of the recruitment process. A separate cell will be formed on the approval of the government.

The Subordinate Services Selection Commission has received proposals for 2500 vacant posts from various departments. These include LT Teacher, Rural Development Officer, Gram Panchayat Development Officer, Assistant Accountant, Personal Assistant, Junior Assistant, Stenographer, and other posts.
