The Doon Travels Honors Association has demanded the state government and the transport department waive at least 50 percent of the insurance of the vehicles, and at least those vehicles whose insurance has expired or is going to end after March 22, Validity of three months should be increased.
Along with this, the office-bearers of the association have demanded from the government that on the lines of the New Delhi government, financial assistance of five thousand rupees should be provided to all the drivers in Uttarakhand so that the drivers struggling with the economic crisis can get some relief.
