Uttarakhand High Court seeks response from the government, how a pass is released to Amanmani in lockdown

The Uttarakhand High Court has asked the state government, under which circumstances, the independent MLA from Nautanwa in Uttar Pradesh released Amanmani Tripathi and colleagues to go to Badri-Kedarnath during the lockdown, while the Center has instructed to strictly follow the lockdown.

The bench issued notices to the District Magistrates of Doon, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Pauri, UP MLA Amanmani, his companions Jai Prakash, Maya Shankar, Manish Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Ritesh Yadav, Om Prakash Yadav, Ajay Yadav, Sriprakash Paswan, and Vinay Kumar, etc. The government has been directed to file the reply within three weeks.

CBI should investigate the case

Umesh Sharma, a resident of Dehradun, has filed a PIL in the matter in the High Court, stating that 10 other people including Amanmani on behalf of Additional Chief Secretary Om Prakash in the government, Badrinath for the paternal deeds of UP CM Yogi Adityanath’s father. And it was recommended to go to Kedarnath to issue a special pass.

The Rudraprayag police caught Amanmani and his associates. The Disaster Management Act has been violated. The entire case should be investigated by CBI. DGP, Principal Secretary, CBI and Additional Chief Secretary Om Prakash have been made parties in the case.
