Uttarakhand: High court reprimanded in the plight of quarantine centers, the government should give a budget to village heads


The Uttarakhand High Court has reprimanded the government for the ruin of quarantine centers in rural areas, the chaos of cleanliness, and the lack of food.

Taking serious note of the report of the District Legal Services Authority, the High Court has ordered the State Government to provide sufficient funds to all the village heads to arrange quarantine centers through the District Magistrates in compliance with the mandate of May 4, 2020.

The court has also given instructions to rectify the situation and present the report. Also, by making a copy of the report available to the Health Secretary, he has ordered to present the progress report after two weeks, correcting the deficiencies mentioned in the report.

The case was heard before the bench of Justice Sudhanshu Dhulia and Justice Ravindra Maithani.
