The Uttarakhand government will provide motorcycles to 20 thousand youths under the self-employment scheme and connect them with the tourism sector. Addressing the seminar on ‘Self-reliant India, Empower India’, he said while addressing the chief guest at the online seminar organized by Devbhoomi Vichar Manch and Swadeshi Jagran Manch, that the government should promote self-employment in the dairy sector. For dairy, a 25 percent subsidy will be provided with loans and a better type of cow.
More than 4000 people have applied for this. The government is giving a loan of Rs 2 lakh for the milk booth, with a subsidy of Rs 4 per liter for dairy, with a 25 percent subsidy.
Minister of State for Higher Education said that under the Mukhyamantri Swarojgar Yojana, loans from 05 to 25 lakhs, financial assistance is also being provided for the development of women through self-help groups. Dr. Rawat asked the Vice-Chancellor of Tribal University to open regional centers of the University for the tribal areas of Uttarakhand.
