The state government is in the process of preparing for a cabinet meeting after the end of the Model Code of Conduct for Lok Sabha elections. Instructions have been given to prepare proposals for a long cabinet interval of 77 days. In the cabinet meeting, important decisions can be made regarding the problems faced by land availability in industrial investments in recruitments and plains relative to the vacant positions.
After the Lok Sabha elections, the first Cabinet meeting is expected to make many big decisions. The government has not decided the date for the meeting but the department has sought the proposal. It is almost certain to hold a cabinet meeting in the first week of June. The mining department’s new mining policy may be stamped in the meeting.
In the new mining policy, the government wants to double the revenue from mining to Rs 700 crore annually. Apart from this, the proposal for recruitment of vacant posts with all the departments will also be discussed. The Chief Minister had directed all the departments to prepare proposals until May 27.
Apart from this, the government can bring the policy for the plains on the lines of the mountains on the problems of land availability in industrial investment in the field. A decision on the amendments related to residential policy is also expected in the Cabinet meeting.
