Uttarakhand: BJP intensifies to make state president, Center gathers in Raisumari

state president

The exercise has intensified with the election of the new state president of BJP. There are many contenders in the queue and the central leadership has sent RSS Khanti leader, National Vice President and Member of Parliament Vinay Sahasrabuddhi and National Minister RP Singh to hold an opinion on one of them. The two central leaders held separate discussions with the leaders of the BJP core group on Friday. He contacted some of the core group leaders and sought opinion on telephone.

The party had announced the election of the state president by 15 November. But due to the increase in the duration of the Parliament session and the busyness of the central leaders, the date of election of the state president was further extended. It is now believed that the party will get a new state president by 25 December. But the big question is who is the face that will be given the command of the organization. The election of the state president is very important for the 2022 assembly elections. This is the reason that this time there are many big faces in the queue of contenders for the state president.

According to the formula established within the party, so far it has happened that if the reigns of power were in the hands of the leader of Garhwal, the command of the organization was handed over to the leader of Kumaon. Regional and ethnic balance has always been ranked in the organization. But regional and caste equations have not remained very relevant after the change of government of the overwhelming majority in the Center and the State. The chances of Kumaon MP getting a place in the Union Cabinet after becoming of Trivendra a CM proved to be wrong and Khanti Siyasatdan Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank from Garhwal was made Union Minister.

Chief Minister and former Chief Minister held an opinion
The two union leaders also discussed with Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat about the name of the state president. According to sources, the Chief Minister also gave his opinion on one of the names of the panel prepared at the party level.

Similarly, the union leaders also consulted former chief ministers including state president Ajay Bhatt, cabinet minister Satpal Maharaj, Madan Kaushik, Harak Singh Rawat, Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat. Leaders of the core group who were not present in the capital were discussed over the telephone.

Will submit a report to the center

After the plebiscite, the two central leaders will submit their report to the national organization. Based on their report, the central leadership will take a decision and thereafter the unanimous election of the new chairman will be announced in the presence of central observers.

After the opinion of the core group leaders, now the market of speculation about the election of the new state president has become warmer. According to the sources associated with the organization, according to the caste and regional equation, the pan of Kumaon is considered heavy.

Among the MLAs, senior legislators Banshidhar Bhagat and Naveen Chand Dumka, the names of Pushkar Singh Dhami and Surendra Singh Jeena among the youth are floating in the discussions. Kailash Pant leads the RSS and Khanti leaders of the organization, while Kedar Joshi, Suresh Joshi and Balraj Pasi, Raju Bhandari are also considered in the race. Only the strong name of Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat has emerged from Garhwal.

Central leaders have consulted all the members of the core group regarding the new state president. I have also been asked. I have given my opinion
