At the 38th India International Trade Fair held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, the best state award was given to Uttarakhand. The event themed rural MSME based on which the products were displayed at the fair.
In the fair, the Kedarnath reconstruction works, the homestay scheme of the Tourism department, the options of the nutraceutical products based on mountain grains of the Department of Horticulture and Food Processing, Handloom and handicrafts products of the State under the brand name of Himadri, were displayed prominently.
Apart from all these, the opportunities available in the field of film shooting in Uttarakhand were also displayed at this event. The importance is given by the investors and audiences and the jury, information about the Investors Summit held in October was given. Investment for manufacturing, tourism, hospitality, infrastructure, biotech, film shooting, agriculture and food processing, health and welfare, education and skills was also identified during the fair.
Besides Uttarakhand, Bihar and Himachal Pradesh were also awarded. The Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Suresh Prabhu distributed the awards. Read more posts…
