Uttarakhand assembly budget session: BJP MLA cried on the death of the martyrs

The Trivendra Government will present a general budget in the assembly on Monday. Earlier, a tribute to the Pulwama martyrs was given. During the session, BJP legislator Ganesh Joshi recalled the Pulwama martyrs and burst with a loud cry.

On Monday, there was a discussion on the condolence proposal in the House on the information of the martyrdom of 4 jawans in an encounter with the terrorists in Kashmir. Ganesh Joshi and Karan Mehra were shocked at the martyrdom of the martyrs in the terrorist attack on the condolence offer. Speaker Prem Chand Agrawal also teared. The budget session is likely to be tempting in the election year. Finance Minister Prakash Pant will present the Budget Estimates for the financial year 2019-20 on the House table. The government can make announcements for special incentives for agriculture and farmers in self-employment, cooperative and organic farming. The budget also indicates the provision of some new schemes for farmers, unemployed, villagers, underprivileged, poor and weaker sections. Earlier, the government had to present the budget on February 15, but it was postponed in the condolence of the soldiers who were killed in the Pulwama terror attack.

For the financial year 2018-19, the government had passed the budget of Rs 45,585.09 crore. In the budget, the government had given special priority to skill development, education, health, and agriculture. Now in the budget of 2019-20, the government can announce in the field of priority sector in agriculture, animal husbandry, forestry, fisheries, mining.

Cabinet meeting today
The target of fulfilling the resolve to double the income of the farmers until 2022 is in front of the state government. There are indications that in the budget, the government can give priority to tourism, trade, transport, roads and communication sectors. The government may increase the budgetary provisions in the announcements made by the previous budget.

Under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, the meeting of the Cabinet will be held at 10 am on Monday in the Assembly House. The Supreme Court’s order in the meeting could lead to a policy regarding the removal of a door to door garbage related to garbage management.

This will facilitate the management of waste management in rural areas and the system. Apart from this, some departmental manuals may also be stamped. At the same time, some policy issues may also be discussed on the construction of residential and commercial buildings in the urban development department. Also there is a possibility of a proposal for some changes in 10 percent economic reservation.
