Uttarakhand: All malls will be closed till March 31 in view of Corona infection, Cabinet passes proposal


A cabinet meeting was chaired by Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat in the capital, Dehradun. In which the government proposal has been brought to organize the budget session in Dehradun.

It was decided in the secretariat meeting on Thursday that the new system of reservation roster in the direct recruitment of the employees will be sealed and the old system implemented. Now the first post will be reserved. It has been decided to hold the budget session in Dehradun.

The meeting also confirmed some decisions taken by the Uttarakhand government to control the Covid-19.

Government spokesperson and Urban Development Minister Madan Kaushik informed about the decisions taken by the government to control the Covid-19. Accordingly, all the malls have been directed to remain closed till 31 March 2020.

Foreigners coming to Rishikesh and Tehri districts will be closely monitored. If required, the guesthouses and stadium of Kumaon Development Corporation Limited and Garhwal Development Corporation Limited will be authorized.

All the MLAs will give Rs. 15 lakh from their MLA fund to the Chief Medical Officer. This amount can be used as needed. The Chief Secretary will review the situation every day and the Chief Minister at an interval of 2-3 days.

At the same time, it has been said as an appeal that all the private sectors should make such arrangements that more people do not gather around. On receiving symptoms in the patient, immediately inform the hospital. The situation is completely under control. So there is no need to panic.
