Uttarakhand: 61 officers selected including 27 IAS for supervisor duty in Lok Sabha elections

Election Commission has sent a list of 61 IAS, IPS and PCS officers deployed as supervisors in various states during the Lok Sabha elections to the state. Generally, IAS and IPS are made supervisors, but this time the list of PCS officers has also been sent.

The Commission has fixed its training program in two phases. Election Commission has selected 27 PCs officers for the training program with 27 IAS and 15 IPS for deploying supervisors in Uttarakhand this time.

The first training phase will be on March 14, which will include 16 IAS, 8 IPS and 10 PCS officers. The second phase will be on 26 March with 11 IAS, 7 IPS and 9 PCS. The Election Commission has given strict instructions that those officers whose names are in the list will have to join training programs in every situation.

Action can be taken against the officer who does not comply with the orders. After the training program, it will be decided which state will be given to them for duty. Although the officers who are on field posting, the commission can abide them. Read more posts…
