Union minister Nitin Gadkari on Thursday announced several announcements for the protection of the Ganga on the occasion of the launch of newly constructed Ghats under the Chandighat bridge under Namami Gange Yojna. But for the 121 days, he did not get any help from Brahmachari Swami Bhodanand of Mati Sadan.
Swami Sanand was not mentioned either. Not only Gadkari, but any leader present at the function also did not recall the Brahmachari for the Ganga. Regarding the demand for the special activities for the inertia of Ganga, Master of Knowledge Sanand aka Professor GD Agarwal continued to seek the assurance of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari or to come to Haridwar. But after waiting, Swami Sanand died on October 11.
Brahmachari Atmabodhanand sat on hunger strike on 24th October 2018
In support of the demands of Swami Sanand, Brahmacharya of Matrisadan Swami Atmabodhanand sat on hunger strike on October 24, but no leader nor any other official has taken notice of him. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari came to Haridwar on Wednesday. He announced the crores of rupees for the protection of the Ganga but hunger strike for 121 days, by the Brahmachari Swami Bhodanand, for the continuity of the Ganga, was not remembered.
Gadkari continued to praise his government’s efforts and future plans for Ganga but did not mention of Sanand for his sacrifice Ganga and eminent scientist Swami Gyan Swaroop for the continuity of Ganga. Swami Shivanand Saraswati, the headmaster of Matrisadan, told that he has no hope from the government to protect the Ganga. If the government is seeking the sacrifice of the saints to protect the Ganges, then the Matrisadan is ready to sacrifice. Brahmachari Atmabodhanand has resolved to continue the fast till the demand is complete.
