The work will continue in the tehsils on the weekend even if it’s holiday

In order to give the benefits of the Prime Minister’s Kisan Award fund to the farmers in the ambitious scheme of the Central Government, the work continues in tehsil even on holiday (Saturday and Sunday). Both days, especially for beneficiary farmers, measles will be provided along with a copy of Khatouni. In this regard, District Magistrate SA Murugaon issued the order to all the sub-collectors.

The Central Government has started the “Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana”. Under the scheme, financial assistance of Rs 6000 has to be provided to farmers having two hectares of land. To avail the benefits of the scheme, farmers will have to submit measles, a copy of Khatoni and submit it by 14th February.

Apart from this, departmental nodal officers are collecting information of the farmer’s name, address, father’s name, age, village council, block, bank account number, IFSC code, mobile number, Aadhaar card information.

The Center and the State Government’s effort is to introduce the first installment of the scheme to the farmers’ accounts before the code of conduct for Lok Sabha elections is implemented. This has prompted the district administration to accelerate the implementation of the scheme.
