The change of journey postponed due to rain and snowfall

Prior to the Lok Sabha elections, the journey for change by Congress, which started under Pritam Singh’s leadership, has been postponed due to heavy rains and snowfall. The first phase of the yatra was started from January 21 after worshipping in the Hanol temple under the Chakrata assembly constituency.
State Congress Senior Vice President Suryakant Dhasmana said in a press conference at Raj Bhavan, Rajpur Road that the journey for change by Congress party started on January 21 from Hanol temple is getting immense support. People want change in the entire country in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
He said that due to the continuous rains and heavy snowfall in the mountainous areas, the transit travel scheduled to be held on 23 January (Wednesday) in Chinyalisod and Uttarkashi, on 24th and 25th January in lambhgaon, Ghansali, Chamba and Tehri have been postponed. This journey will now be completed in Phase II. He said that the date of the second phase of the change journey will be announced soon.
