The body of Major Chitresh Bisht, who died in the IED blast in Rajouri, has reached Dehradun today. The body of the martyr was brought from Air Force aircraft to Jollygrant Airport. Meanwhile, the army officers paid homage to the martyr there.
According to the information, the martyr’s funeral will be done on Monday. So the body of the martyr has been taken directly from the airport to the army hospital. On Monday morning, his last trip will be taken out after which he will be cremated.
Major Chitresh Singh died in the IED blast on Saturday in Rajouri of Kashmir. The blast took place when they were defusing IED. Major Chitresh had passed out in the year 2010 in the Indian Military Academy Dehradun. At present, he was in the Engineering Core of the Army.
He was the son of retired inspector SS Bisht of Uttarakhand Police. The air of mourning was flown to them as soon as they were informed of his martyrdom. People seemed to be gathered at their home to console the family. Major Chitresh’s family lives in the Nehru Colony area of Dehradun.
Major Chitresh was to get married after 18 days. After the news of the son’s martyrdom, the preparations for the marriage turned into mourning.
