The Test match between Afghanistan and West Indies in November will be played in Dehradun. According to information received from CAU Joint Secretary, the Test match will be played in Dehradun from 27 November.

A series of three T20s, three One-Day and One Test match is to be played between Afghanistan and West Indies from November 5 to December 1. The Afghanistan Cricket Board has also officially announced this. The ground is yet to be announced for these matches.

The Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Stadium in Dehradun is the home ground of Afghanistan, but the Afghanistan Cricket Board is looking to change its home ground due to the absence of a five-star hotel. For this, the Afghan board had expressed a desire from BCCI to make Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium its home ground.

The Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association also agreed to this. In such a situation, it was believed that the series played between Afghanistan and West Indies would be played in Lucknow itself. At the same time, according to information received from Joint Secretary of Cricket Association of Uttarakhand, Mahim Verma, Test match between Afghanistan and West Indies is to be played from 27 November at Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Stadium in Dehradun. Mahim Verma said that according to the information received from Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association, a Test match is to be played in Dehradun from 27 November.
