Assistant General Post Master Anusuya Prasad Chamola informed that the AEPS scheme has been started by the Department of Posts. Under this scheme, customers can withdraw money from the bank account from any post office. For this, Aadhaar should be linked to the customer’s bank account. The scheme has been launched on the occasion of the completion of one year of the Department’s India Post Payment Bank (IPPB).

This way you can get payment from the post office

For payment of up to 10 thousand rupees from the post office, you have to bring your Aadhaar card, where the thumb will be placed on the biometric system. After this, payment will be made by adding Aadhaar to the respective bank account. The message of payment will be sent to the mobile number immediately.

There is no account in the post office, yet you will get money

To take advantage of this scheme, it is not necessary that you have an account at the post office but it is necessary to have an account in any bank. In this scheme, the customer has an account in any bank, he will be able to take payment of up to Rs 10,000 from the post office. For this, he will not need to go round the bank.
