Swine flu takes away 10 patients, total 24 affected

H-1N-1 virus, which is spreading swine flu in Uttarakhand, is becoming fatal day by day. The life of the patients coming in the grip of this virus is in the air. Another patient died due to swine flu in the state. The disease has so far killed ten patients.
According to the information, the 36-year-old woman admitted to Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital in Patel Nagar was killed due to swine flu. The woman was admitted to the hospital on Monday. The patient was having high fever, cough and breathing difficulties since last ten days
Chief Medical Officer Dr SK Gupta said that the woman from Dehradun died from swine flu. At the same time, two patients in Max Hospital, two patients admitted in Doon Hospital and one in Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, have confirmed swine flu.
He informed that so far 24 patients have confirmed swine flu. Ten of these have died. Nine is undergoing treatment in various hospitals, while five have already undergone treatment. He said that three patients in Synergy, one in Max and five were admitted to Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital. Government and private hospitals have been directed to give separate arrangements and proper treatment for swine flu affected patients.
