Scholarship scam: six educational institutions and 11 middlemen sued

A case has been registered against six educational institutions and 11 middlemen in Jaspur and Kashipur in the scholarship scam. Seven cases have been registered in Jaspur. In Jaspur, SIT in-charge Bibi Arya has said in the cases filed that the students were questioned by investigating the case of getting a scholarship from the Social Welfare Department while studying in non-state educational institutions.

Students told that Chandraprakash, Kamaljeet Singh, resident of Bhagwantpur, Joginder Singh, resident of Brahmnagar (Kashipur), Digvijay Singh, resident of Manduakheda Hall, resident of Punjabi colony Jaspur, Satyendra Kumar, Natha Singh, Ashish Raj alias Bittu, Sachin, resident of Sanyasowala, Omkar resident of Maisuwala, Mahipal, resident of Bhagiwala (Thakurdwara) and Rajneesh, resident of Shamli along with Namdhari College Sundernagar Mandi Himachal Pradesh, DCS College Mahmudnagar Gohana Sonipat Haryana, Dhampur Law College Dhampur Bijnor, Kishan Institute Meerut, Shamli Institute Muzaffarnagar prepared fake documents of students.
After this, they grabbed government money of lakhs of rupees by allocating scholarships by showing admission in LLB, B.Ed and B.Tech. Kotwal NB Bhatt said that investigation has been started by registering a case against the accused.
On the other hand, SIT inspector GB Joshi in Kashipur said in a lawsuit that prima facie investigation physically verified two students studying in the Jodhpur National University-Main Complex Jodhpur (Rajasthan) educational institute. During the investigation, a student said that she did not take admission in the said institute.

The student’s education-related certificates were taken by Digvijay Singh, resident of Punjabi Colony Jaspur. Educational certificates of other students were also taken. Digvijay, by cheating the above student, along with the owner, manager, officer-employee of the said institute, grabbed a fraudulent amount of one lakh 16 thousand rupees by showing fake admission. The police have started an investigation against the educational institute and the broker by registering cases in fraud and other sections.

An institute and broker sued in Nanakmatta

In the post-tenancy scholarship scam, the police have registered a case against Tahir of SIT against a broker of Sitarganj area and manager and employees of an educational institute in Gajraula, UP, under various sections.

On Sunday, the police filed a case against the SIT Inspector NN Pant, Mohan Singh, resident of village Karaghatia of Sitarganj, and the managers and employees of the Maa Gayatri Institute of Management and Technology at Amroha, Thana, Gajraula, UP. It was told in Tahrir that through Mohan Singh, the institute has done a scholarship scam in the name of 10 students of Nanakmatta region, two students of Sitarganj, and one student of Khatima.

Police Officer Kamlesh Bhatt said that on the basis of Tahrir, police have registered a case against the accused under sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 120B and 406 of the IPC. The investigation of the case has been handed over to SI Avnish Kumar.
