Rishikesh: Three-member team to investigate Vasu murder case in boarding school

District Magistrate Dehradun has constituted a three-member team to investigate the famous Vasu murder case of Children Home Academy Bhogpur. The team has been instructed to investigate all aspects as soon as possible and to send the report.

In the inquiry committee, Chief Education Officer Asha Panuli, District Probation Officer Meena Bisht and Sub-Collector Rishikesh have been kept. On March 10, the student of seventh-grade student Vasu was assassinated in the Academy. There was also a demand for high-level investigations, with the constant catch of the case.

The matter is under Chief Minister’s constituency
As the matter is under the constituency of Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, the responsible officials are also taking the matter seriously.

Chief Education Officer Dehradun Asha Panuli said that the inquiry committee is going to begin scrutinizing all aspects of the issue. All points related to the matter will be thoroughly reviewed. Attempts are being made that the investigation should be handed over to the District Magistrate soon after scrutiny.

Commission has also taken cognizance on the incident
In Vasu murder case, the police have so far arrested five people including two students. Taking cognizance of the student’s brutal murder, the first child protection commission has followed the record after visiting the minority commission academy.
