Migrants from Garhwal will stay at Haridwar, Kotdwar, Munikireti and Kumaon expatriates at Haldwani and Rudrapur
It was arranged for people coming from outside to Uttarakhand that all the migrants would be quarantined in Haridwar itself, but the district administration was told that the maximum number of people coming in, let alone quarantining them in Haridwar is impossible.

Four districts will be quarantined in Haridwar, there will be pool investigation
Following the High Court order, the district administration has also started a campaign to institutionalize the migrants and sample them all. In Haridwar, migrants from four districts will be quarantined and examined. CMO Dr. Saroj Naithani said that samples of 230 people from outside were taken on Thursday.
These samples will be examined through the pool. 20 samples will be included in a pool. If the report of a group is positive, then all its 20 samples will be examined separately.
DM C Ravi Shankar said that apart from Haridwar, migrants from Rudraprayag, Uttarkashi, and Chamoli have been quarantined in Haridwar to arrange for their medical examination. To quarantine, 50 places have been arranged in the entire district including Haridwar, Jwalapur, Piran Kaliyar.
127 people also came by road
He said that 479 people boarding a train carrying 1607 migrants from Mumbai were quarantined in Piran Kaliyar under this arrangement late Wednesday night. DM said that as the number of migrants keeps increasing, they will be quarantined at the designated places.
Until the reports of samples come, these people will stay in these centers. If reported ‘positive’, they will be isolated and treated. Those who report negative will be sent home. All arrangements have been made at the Quarantine Centers.
Apart from 479 people who came from Mumbai, 127 people by road were also institutional quarantined. This includes 78 people from the Narsan border, 27 from Bhagwanpur Kali river, and 20 from Mandawar. These people were coming here from Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, Rajasthan.
