Prisoners locked in prisons soon will be able to read books written by various writers including Chanakya and Chetan Bhagat. On behalf of the government, the proposal to open a mini library in all the jails of the state has got a green signal. In the mini library, the prisoners will be provided with books to read religious, political, novel, freedom movement. The proposal to open a mini library in prisons has been sent to all the jails of the province on behalf of the IG. If everything is fine then the prisoners will soon get new friends in the form of books inside the prison.
In the province’s prisons now, the book will be very heavy on the world of crime. Prisoners will be given knowledge by forgetting the knowledge of the crime by the prison authorities. Actually, the jail authorities are preparing to open a mini library in all the small jails of the province. For this, the government has given green signal to the jail administration. After getting the green flag, the jail administration has prepared a blueprint for opening the mini library. A proposal to open a mini library in all the prisons of the province has been sent by the jail IG Dr. PVK.
Apart from this, it has been said to select a place in the jail premises for the mini library. Also, information regarding the collection of books on the basis of the prisoners’ survey report is being collected in the Mini-Library. In the proposal sent from the prison IG, it has also sought information that the prisoners should be asked of what books they like? It is expected that soon after getting the survey report of books from all the jails, the mini library will be opened.

like Mahatma Gandhi, Ravindra Nath Tagore, Jawaharlal Nehru, Swami Vivekananda, Chetan Bhagat, Manu Bhandari, Premchand, Kalidas, Mahadevi Verma, Maithilisaran Gupta, Bharatendra Harishchandra, Jai Shankar Prasad. Besides, Amir Khusro of Urdu, Mirza Ghalib, Kaifi Azmi, Nida Fazli.
Prisoners in ten jails will get the benefit
There is jail in Dehradun, Pauri, Nainital, Almora, Sitarganj, Chamoli, Roorkee, Haridwar, Haldwani and Tehri in the state. There are about 4500 men and women prisoners. Many prisoners are educated in these prisoners, many have the taste of reading books. The opening of the mini library in jail will fill the hobby to read books of these prisoners.
