PM Modi’s rally is proposed on February 14 in Rudrapur. On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has issued rain and hailstorm warning in six districts of the state. In the mountainous regions, there may be moderate rainfall or snowfall.

According to information received from the State Meteorological Center, there is a possibility of hailstorms and thunderstorms in the next 24 hours in Nainital, Udham Singh Nagar, Haridwar, Pauri, Tehri and Dehradun districts on the afternoon of February 14. On Wednesday, Haldwani’s maximum temperature was 23.8 and the minimum temperature was 10 degree Celsius.

Rainfall and snowfall may also occur at the elevated places of Garhwal and Kumaon. Because of this, the temperature can be recorded as low again in the state. Maximum temperature was recorded as 17.6 degrees Celsius at Mukteshwar and minimum temperature was 6.2 degrees Celsius. Maximum temperature was five degrees above normal and the minimum temperature was four degrees Celsius above normal.

Snow on the high peaks of Munasyari
The area in the high peaks are covered with snow again and the lower regions are getting cold. From Wednesday morning onwards, Munasyari remained cloudy. In the afternoon, there was light snow in the hills of Hansling, Rajaramba, Panchachuli, Nagnidhura. There is a possibility of rain in lower areas. Here, in the district headquarters Pithoragarh, it remained cloudy the whole day.

Electricity and water supply disruption in Kedarnath
Four days after the weather was improved in Kedarnath Dham, the situation could not remain normal. Dham is still covered with snow. There are more than seven feet of snow. Reconstruction work has stalled since January 21. Captain Sobhan Singh Bisht, in-charge of Wood Stone told that after the disruption in the supply of electricity and water in Dham, 19 people present there are facing a lot of problems in fulfilling their needs. Work is not being started due to excessive snowfall on the workplaces. There is also three to five degrees of snow on walkways that it is difficult to move around.
