PM Modi gives two models to Uttarakhand and a professional education institute


Two new model degrees in Uttarakhand Kichha and Laldhang and a Professional University in Paithani, Pauri. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday launched the National Higher Education Campaign (RUSA) from Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar setting up 70 new model degree colleges in the second phase, 11 educational colleges, a women’s university and more than 60 entrepreneurship and innovation related to high educational institutions by pressing the remote.
The budget has also been approved with land selection for the three educational institutions. Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister for two Model Degree Colleges and a Professional University, which the state received.

He said that with the establishment of the model and professional colleges in Kichha, Laldhang and Paithani, higher education will have access to modern and technical competence. Business colleges in the area like Paithani will prove to be milestones for the youth.

Minister of State for Higher Education, Dr Dhan Singh Rawat, was present in the fundraising program of Business College established at Paithani. Minister of State for Finance and Dhan Singh Rawat said that Rs 12.12 crore has been sanctioned for Kichha and Laldhang Colleges and Rs 26 crore for Paithani professional college from central government.

There will be only professional courses in Paithani College. Other formalities including land selection for these colleges have been completed. MP Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and MLA Yatishwaranand, vice-president, Higher Education Upgradation Committee, Deepti Rawat were also present in the fundraising program of Model Degree College, which was established in Laldhang.

MLA Rajesh Shukla was present in the fundraising program of Model Degree College, which is being built on 13 acres of land in Khurpiya Farm of Kichcha.
