The way to build a foreign building in Dehradun has been cleared. On the request of the Ministry of External Affairs, the state government has agreed to this. It was also decided to transfer two acres of land to the Ministry of External Affairs in Dehradun district. Secretary Revenue has written a letter to the District Magistrate to convey the landmarked. Uttarakhand Secretary Revenue Sushil Kumar has also confirmed the provision of two acres of land for the foreign building.
The construction of foreign buildings in Doon has been going on for a long time. Due to the non-availability of land by the state government, the people were not getting the benefit of it. Amar Ujala has been publishing this matter prominently. In this building, services related to the secretariat branch of the Ministry of External Affairs will be available. People of Uttarakhand will not have to travel to Delhi for these services. Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar had requested to provide two acres of land to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat.
This is the plan of the Ministry of External Affairs
The Ministry has plans to provide various services of the Ministry through the Passport Offices, Protector Office of Overseas Indians, Cultural Affiliate Council, and Secretariat Branch, etc. easily to the people at the state level. For this, foreign buildings are being constructed in the capital of all states.
There will be many benefits
Cultural programs will also be organized in Doon under the Cultural Exchange Program from abroad due to the construction of the Foreign Building. A large number of youth from Uttarakhand work in private sectors abroad. At times, there are complaints of being cheated by fake companies, agents, and wrong documents.
The family can complain about such cases by going to the foreign building in Doon. These will be resolved from here. Apart from this, in some countries, the less educated people have to get the Ministry of External Affairs’ approval from New Delhi for the labor work. Now it will be stamped in Doon itself.
Passport office and Passport Seva Kendra will also be shifted in a foreign building
In addition to the Regional Passport Office at the Foreign Building, Passport Seva Kendras will also be shifted together. Right now both offices are running in rented buildings. The distance between these two offices is six kilometers. Passport applicants will also be comfortable with both.
The Ministry of External Affairs is also going to build the Foreign Building in Dehradun. On the request of the ministry, the state government has agreed to give two acres of land in Dehradun. For this, a letter has also been written to the district administration from the government level. Our level is also being requested to speed up the process of land transfer by coordinating in this matter.
