With this, these drivers-operators will also get the benefit of government schemes. In this, drivers-operators can register themselves. It is expected to benefit 1.01 lakh people. The department has also made permits for passenger vehicles online.
Commissioner Transport Dependra Chaudhary on Monday launched both these online services at the Transport Headquarters. In the portal designed for drivers, personal details of the driver-operator as well as vehicle details and their bank account will also be recorded. At present, the tourism department is providing assistance of one thousand rupees to all drivers of commercial passenger vehicles. Everyone will get a lot of relief from this portal. Apart from commercial vehicles, other drivers-operators will also be registered in the near future.

At the same time, the work of vehicle permit application and fee has also been made online. With this, applicants can renew All India, All Uttarakhand Permit, or Charter at the time of sitting. In such a case, now applicants will have to come to the office only to get a permit. This will bring transparency in work and reduce office congestion. Earlier, the online system was being released only at the headquarters, but now it has been implemented in all divisional and sub-divisional offices as well.
Now M-fitness app will be implemented in the entire state
After a successful operation in Udham Singh Nagar, now the M-fitness app scheme will be implemented in the entire state. In this plan, a fitness module of Vehicle 4.0 software is operated on the tablet. A photo of the vehicle will be taken from it. It is through this that vehicles are declared fit or unfit. The Transport Commissioner has directed all divisional transport officers to start the scheme in their offices. They have been asked to purchase from the user charge item.
