A 41-year-old woman from Haridwar, who was admitted to Sri Mahant Indiresh Hospital late night, died of swine flu. This is the second death within one week of swine flu.
Earlier, on January 3, at Max Hospital, a patient of Premanagar had died of swine flu. After the death of two patients from swine flu, the health department has stirred up. According to Chief Medical Officer Dr SK Gupta, the woman was admitted to the hospital on Thursday itself.
At present, three patients at the Sri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, Synergy and Max Hospital, are recruiting patients of swine flu H1N1 virus patients. All government and private hospitals have been asked to remain alert about swine flu. At the same time, issuing an advisory, people have been instructed to take precautionary measures.
He said that the virus of H1N1 virus affects people with long illness, people over 65 years of age, more than five years of age and pregnant women.
