After three years gap, a new executive elected in the Indian Forest Service Association. On Saturday, principal chief conservator of forests Monish Mullick has unanimously elected the head of the state chapter while conservator of forests P.K. Patro was made the general secretary.
In the 3-day annual meeting of the IFS Association’s state chapter, issues like appointment of IFS officers to posts as significant as occupied by IAS officers were raised.
Further, another issue of proper feedback about works of the forest officers should reach the government was also raised.
