It is mandatory to include Vedas, Sanskrit, and Yoga as a special curriculum in government universities. Uttarakhand will also open centers for research on the native Garhwali and Kumaoni languages in the Government Universities, and to encourage the regional languages in the state, said the Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat. To improve the sphere of higher education, CM said the government has taken steps like this on Sunday. He was also addressing the media regarding the convocation to be held in the Doon University on 30th of November.
