Modi government’s package is a big relief step – Ajendra


The state BJP termed the announcement of a package of Rs 1.70 lakh crore for the help of the affected economy and poor due to the Corona epidemic and lockdown, as a sensitive and humane approach of the Modi government.

BJP’s media in-charge Ajendra Ajay has described the economic package announced today by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman as a very relief step for all sections of society, especially the poor, under the present circumstances. He said that within 36 hours of the central government’s announced lockdown, the Finance Minister has taken important steps to help the affected and the poor.

He said that the package of Rs 1.70 lakh crore announced by the Modi government will benefit the poor who need immediate help. He said that under the Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, the central government has expressed its resolve not to let any poor go hungry. Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Dhan Yojana will help farmers, MNREGA workers, poor, widows, disabled, women holding Jan Dhan accounts, women beneficiaries of the Ujjwala scheme, women from self-service groups and organized sector employees, construction workers.

BJP leader said Rs. 500 per month for the next three months for 20 crore Jan Dhan account holders women, free cylinders for three months for Ujjwala scheme beneficiaries, raising interest rate for women self-help groups without interest, some amount of EPF of organized sector employees. Announcements like the government giving for the next 3 months are considered important. He said that with the insurance scheme of doctors, paramedical staff, sanitation workers, etc. engaged by the Central Government in dealing with the corona epidemic, the morale of this personnel will be increased and they will be able to work more quickly.
