The case of acid attack on a medical PG student has come to light in the Swami Ram Himalayan Institute of Jollygrant. The attacker is being told to be the oldest partner of the student. Police have started investigating the matter by lodging a case. The victim has been admitted to Himalayan Hospital Jollygrant. His condition is being told out of danger.
In this case, Mahendra Singh Mehra, resident of Chaman Vihar Dehradun, PG Medical (psychiatrist) has been sued for the accused in Doiwala Kotwali. He told that his son is a student of PG at Himalayan Institute. It was told that after doing duty from the hospital around 9.30 pm on Friday, his son had gone to his room in the hostel located inside the institute, where he was drinking tea while sitting outside the room when Shubham, resident of Chhotmalpur Saharanpur Saini’s son Dhaniram entered inside the hostel. It is alleged that Shubham Saini escaped after throwing a vessel of boiling acid over his son’s face. As soon as the acid attack, his son shouted to the security guard and his companions, but the accused Shubham Saini escaped from the spot. The injured youth has been admitted to Himalayan Hospital. The police have filed a lawsuit against the accused Shubham Saini in the related sections.
Kotwal Doiwala Rakesh Singh Gusain said that efforts are being made to file a lawsuit in the respective case and arrest the accused. He said that in this case, the police team has been sent to Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh, soon the accused will be arrested.
According to the police, the attacker broke the cameras which were outside the studio before attacking the victim. Kotwal Doiwala Rakesh Singh Gusain said that it has been revealed in the investigation so far that the accused broke the cameras outside the studio before the acid attack so that no one knows the details of the incident. They told that the victim was screaming when the crowd gathered on the spot, taking advantage of the crowd the accused escaped from there.
