MBBS pattern changed, now students have to create logbook along with studies

Medical Council of India released the logbook, complete information about every lecture and practical will be updated
Remarks to be given by subject teacher, MCI has changed MBBS pattern from this year

The pattern of studies of students studying MBBS has changed. Along with the changed pattern, the Medical Council of India (MCI) has made it mandatory to fill the logbook. This will update the complete information of everyday activity.

The students will be thoroughly evaluated in the logbook issued by MCI. On which day did they read which topic, what did they learn, what did they do related to that topic? What did the subject teacher give on this? Everything will be noted down.

Answers to all such questions have to be prepared daily. MCI has also linked the subject to practicality. Under this, the pattern of studies has now become the focus on the case study. That is, if there is a topic attached to the heart, then a case study will be explained to the students. They will also be asked questions based on the case study. The performance of the logbook can be seen on the MCI website.

This change took effect
Instead of theory-based studies, emphasis is being given to MBBS students. Along with this, students are now being taught in the college to hold local languages and communicate better with patients.

MCI has added some new subjects for medical students, with no change in content with the course. Efficiency based MBBS has also changed the pattern of studies, practical and examination. MBBS has started from this session with the foundation course.

The Medical Council of India has made the logbook mandatory. This will not only evaluate the students but also the teachers in one way. Everyday activities will be included in this journal.
