Next year, the entry of Guru Jupiter into Aquarius will take place on April 5. The sun sign of Aries is happening on April 14. The festival of Kumbh Mela will be of 40 days. This festival will run from April 5 to May 15.
Jyotishacharya Dr. Prateek Mishrapuri, director of the Indian Oriental Education Society, told that before April 5, there is no bath festival of Kumbh. There is a bathing ceremony on Mahashivaratri. Kumbh Snan, starting from January 14 in the past, will not happen this time. He told that Haridwar’s Kumbh takes place only after the Sun’s Aries and Guru enter Aquarius.
The Guru’s entry into Aquarius in 2021 will not take place before April 5. For this reason, Akhara Parishad has also invalidated other baths allegedly declared by Kumbh. No festival can be called Kumbh Snan unless the Guru’s entrance is in Kumbh.
Sun’s entry into Aries will last a month
Dr. Mishrapuri said that Sun’s entry into Aries will last a month. Lord Sun will leave Aries on May 15. With that, the forty-day festival of Kumbh will also end. Whatever bathing festivals will take place in these 40 days, it can be called the bath of Aquarius.
In view of the corona, the form of Aquarius is being redefined. In this regard, the Akhara Council has also taken information from astrologers. Everyone has clarified that unless Jupiter comes to Aquarius, no bath of Aquarius will be valid.
However, the ascetics have a tradition of Lord Shiva taking a bath on the day of Mahashivratri. As a result, a bath will be organized on 11 March Mahashivratri. Although the Kumbh Mela period will start from January 1, the festival of Kumbh will not start before April 5.
