Lok Sabha Elections 2019: Vote without the voter ID card, these 11 documents will work

In the Lok Sabha elections in 2019, people will also be able to vote, without a voter ID card. If his/her name is in the voter list, he/she has been given the option of 11 other documents. He/She can cast vote by showing any of these documents.

Although voting dates have come closer, many voters’ voter ID cards have not been made till now. At the same time, many people’s ID cards are lost or even spoiled. But they will not have to worry about casting votes.

According to the Election Commission, they will be able to cast their votes by showing any one of the 11 other documents with a voter slip. Any voter can bring passport, driving license, PAN card, Aadhar card, identity letter issued by the central and state government or private company, photograph issued by the bank or Post Office, smart card issued under National Population Register, MNREGA Job Card, under the scheme of the Ministry of Labor, health insurance smart card, and the pension document including photos.
