Abstract
Alumni of Graphic Era University prepare robot, robot tested in AIIMS Delhi

Through a startup center located at Graphic Era University in Dehradun, alumni here have designed robots to fight Corona. The testing of this robot in AIIMS Delhi has been successful. Along with delivering medicines to the patients, this robot will also conduct video conferencing with their doctor.

Graphic Era’s Technology Business Incubator (TBI) has succeeded in designing new robots and drones to suit the needs of doctors and police for the fight against the Novel Corona. After doing B.Tech from Graphic Era University, Manas Upadhyay and Avinash Chandra Pal opened DetownRobotics Private Limited Company in this center.

Will help like this

Through this, they have designed a special robot to protect the doctors from treating the patients of COVID-19 from infection. Saurabh Karir, who has done MCA from the university, is also involved in the project to build this robot.

Manas Upadhyay, a graphic Era student who became a partner of this company, said that this robot will protect doctors from direct contact with Corona patients. Through this, the patient can be given medicines and his / her video conferencing with doctors. Also, this robot performs the task of removing garbage from the patient’s room kept in isolation.

Drone is also ready

It has also been tested at AIIMS under the supervision of Professor Dr. A. Sharir of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi. Gagan Bansal, mentor and graphic Era teacher of this company, said that AIIMS experts have described this robot as very effective in the war against Corona.

The same company has prepared drones for police to monitor any area, track the movement of people, deliver essentials and make live or recorded announcements without going to the crowd. The company also demonstrated this before Amit Sinha, director of the Information Technology Development Authority (ITDA) of Uttarakhand.

Face-shield will save doctor-police

This TBI of Graphic Era AVK Education Private Limited, another company opened in India, has prepared a face shield to protect the doctors and police personnel involved in the war against Corona from infection.

The CEO of the company, Dr. Vishal JC, demonstrated this face shield to the medical department and administration officials along with Start-up partner Graphic Era Deemed University final year student of mechanical engineering, Madhur Saxena.

40 Faceshield assigned to administration

The team informed CDO Nitika Khandelwal, Additional District Magistrate Veer Singh Budhiyal and Deputy CMO Dr. Kailash Gunjyal about the rescue from this shield. This team also handed over 40 face shields to the administration.

The result of linking education with new technologies, providing practical and expert services in state-of-the-art laboratories for free is that students and alumni are exploring the needs of the country and society and achieving success one after the other. In this way, students are becoming job providers, not job seekers. In this hour of disaster, the graphic Era stands with the country at its full capacity.
