Kumaon people will have less distance from CM

The Uttarakhand Government has decided to set up a Chief Minister’s office in Nainital for the better administrative control over Kumaon region. In Doon University on Friday, Chief Minister said these words to the media persons.

CM Trivendra Singh Rawat said that the move had been initiated. The Kumaon people who had to travel long distances to share their grief will now get a shorter distance to cover. He added that a secretary-level officer would permanently sit in the office and cater people’s grievances.

The State Government had inducted the additional chief secretary Radha Raturi and secretary Ajay Rautela into the CM Secretariat, in the recent reshuffle in the bureaucracy.
