Jollygrant Airport now connects with religious city and pink city

Dehradun Jollygrant Airport of Uttarakhand has also been connected with Jaipur along with the religious city of Punjab, Amritsar. SpiceJet has launched its new flights for Amritsar and Jaipur.
The Chief Minister, Trivendra Singh Rawat, flagged off the first air service of SpiceJet started from Jollygrant Airport for Amritsar. He himself also left for this holy city Amritsar. This flight of SpiceJet connects the pink city Jaipur, Dehradun, Amritsar, and Jammu with its air service.
Launching the Air Services, the Chief Minister said that with its expansion in Uttarakhand, it will be helpful in economic development as well as boosting tourism, pilgrimage in the coming time. Before that, he gave boarding passes himself to the Passengers traveling to Amritsar. He said that Hemkund Sahib in Uttarakhand and Amritsar in Punjab is a holy place.
With the inauguration of air services, the distance between the two states will be reduced. It will also benefit devotees. Kashipur’s MLA Harbhajan Singh Cheema also left from this flight from Jollygrant airport. The SpiceJet plane flew from Jollygrant for the religious city of Amritsar at 11:50 A.M. on Sunday. During this time, the airport director Vinod Sharma, CISF commandant Bikkar Singh, the officials of the airport and spice jets were also present.
