IPL 2020: Uttarakhand’s new brigade ready to show fire, nine players participated in the auction

Uttarakhand’s new brigade is set to disintegrate in the IPL 2020. Of the 186 Indian players available for the four-day auction for the IPL 2020, nine are from Uttarakhand.

These include Abhimanyu, Aryan Juyal, Anuj Rawat, Mayank Rawat and Ayush Badoni where teams from other states including Bengal, UP and Delhi are part of the teams. While Unmukt Chand, Saurabh Rawat is part of the Uttarakhand Ranji team, Himanshu Bisht has been in the under-23 team. All players of Uttarakhand have a base prize of Rs 20 lakh.

Apart from Manish Pandey and Kamlesh Nagarkoti of Bageshwar, Rishabh Pant and Pawan Negi are already with their respective IPL teams. Manish Pandey has been retained by Sun Risers Hyderabad, while Kamlesh Nagarkoti, who recovered from injury, has been retained by Kolkata Knight Rider in his team.

On the other hand, wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant is a part of Delhi’s team. Another player from Uttarakhand, Pawan Negi remains in the army of Virat i.e. RCB. Haldwani resident wicketkeeper-batsman Aryan Juyal, Saurabh Rawat and Anuj Rawat of Ramnagar are also available for auction in Uttarakhand’s new brigade.

All three players are players of their respective teams as wicketkeeper-batsman. Ayush Badoni of Tehri, Himanshu Bisht as an all-rounder, while Bengal opener Abhimanyu Iswaran, Mayank Rawat and Shubham Pundir are also among the list of 186 Indian players available for IPL auction.
