Indian Red Cross Committee, Pithoragarh participated in the Republic day Parade

On the 71st Republic Day, Indian Red Cross Committee, Pithoragarh participated in the Republic day Parade at police line ,on the completion of 100 years for the Red Cross a hand-made flag of the Red Cross which was made by Red Cross National Master Trainer Manish Kasaniyal and SERV Instrutor Deepesh Kapri, flag was hoisted by the chief guest of the parade, the Education Minister Shri Arvind Pandey, District Officer Chairman Bharti Red Cross Committee Mr. Vijay Kumar Jogdande, Police SP Mrs. Priyadarshini, Secretary Red Cross Committee Dr. Usha Gunjayal, MLA Mrs. Chandra Pant, and the Distinguished Officer of the District. On the occasion, Red Cross Management Committee Chairman Lalit Pant, Vice President Basu Pandey, Red Cross Disaster Supervisor Poonam Khatri, along with Red Cross lecturer Harish Kumar, 15 service instructors,  all-volunteers, etc. were present.

Pithoragarh Red Cross hoisted the nation’s largest Red Cross Hand Made flag on the 71st Republic Day. The message of which was to bring about the work of the Indian Red Cross Committee to the people and to support the humanitarian organization in doing seven tasks.
