India-Nepal collaborates to build a power project model on river Arun


The irrigation department of Uttarakhand got the responsibility of making the model of the power project made on the Arun river of Nepal in collaboration with the Central Government. Scientists of the water research center of the irrigation department located in Bahadabad have started working on making the models. Within a few months, the model will be ready. After this Nepalese team will come here to see this model.
The model of this project has been prepared in the research center of Bahadabad. The name of that center also has the distinction of forming a model on many dam projects and rivers in the country.
Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the bridge built on the Brahmaputra river of Assam, the model of its construction was also prepared in this research center. The ongoing projects between the governments of India and Nepal include this important power project to be built on the Arun river. This project is to be constructed on behalf of the small company Sutlej Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited. It has also started work at the primary level.
The responsibility of preparing the model of the project has been entrusted to the scientists of the Water Research Center located in Bahadabad. Under the guidance of Executive Engineer Jayendra Jaira, the team is engaged in the study of the team model of the young engineer Tarun Gupta, DS Rawat, research supervisor Jaipal Singh, and Navin Sehmwal.
Deputy Engineer Tarun Gupta and DM Rawat said that this project will produce about 900 MW of electricity. This project has been named Arun-3 project 900 MW. Soon a team of officers related to Nepal will come to Haridwar to study the model.
