There is a preparation to reduce the time of examinations in the universities and colleges of the state from August 24.

The Minister of State for Higher Education has instructed the officials to prepare a proposal to reduce the exam time in view of the increasing danger of corona. After which the departmental officers are preparing to decrease the exam time from three to one and a half hours.

Under the instructions of the Ministry of Human Resources and UGC, the final year and final semester examinations of universities and colleges in the state will be between August 24 and September 25.

The result of these is to be declared on 25 October. About 80 thousand students have to participate in these examinations, out of which 25 thousand students are from outside states.

Now, in view of the increasing danger of corona, it has been decided by the state government to reduce the time to solve the question paper.

According to the Minister of State for Higher Education, Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat also wants the exam time to be reduced. He said that this time the exam time can be reduced from three hours to two or one and a half hours.
