Haridwar: Playing on life, saved an elderly who was drowning in the river, but two youths could not save themselves

Two youths drowned while saving the life of an elderly woman drowning in Bawan Pass in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. The body of a young man was recovered by the water police while the other youth was not found.

Here, it is said that the survival of the drowning elderly is being avoided. Two youths who were taking bath in the river on Thursday in the Bawan Pass of Dhanauri saw an elderly drowning. Both the young men arrived to save him.

But in the vortex of the water, both the youths were trapped. Here, the drowning elderly survived somehow. The pilgrims reported it to the local police. The Dhanauri police station’s police personnel reached the spot immediately. The police called the Water Police for the rescue.

After several hours of operation, the body of a young man was recovered by the police. While the other young man’s body could not even figure out. According to the police, the deceased was identified as Mudisar Chandel, son of Hamir Chandel resident of Ward no. 18-A Mohalla Gameda, Udhampur district, Jammu & Kashmir.
