Attempt to facilitate pilgrims coming from India and abroad on the lines of Prayagraj Kumbh
Low floor buses will be operated between Mela area to Haridwar-Rishikesh
During the Kumbh held in Haridwar next year, preparations are being made to provide a free bus journey to pilgrims coming from India and abroad. In addition to the fair area, low floor buses will be operated between Haridwar and Rishikesh so that pilgrims do not have any problem. In which free travel will be done.
Large-scale preparations are being made for Haridwar Kumbh from the level of government and government. The government’s effort is that Haridwar Kumbh should also be organized in a grand manner on the lines of Prayagraj.
In this, better facilities will be provided to pilgrims coming from India and abroad. In order to avoid any difficulty in commuters, the Transport Corporation plans to operate low-floor city buses between the fair area as well as Haridwar-Rishikesh.
Transport Secretary Shailesh Bagouli says that plans are being worked out to improve transport facilities during Kumbh. Under this, free travel to pilgrims is also included.
During Prayagraj Kumbh, 1000 low floor buses were operated by the UP government in the Kumbh Mela area and surrounding areas. In which the pilgrims were given free travel. This initiative of the government was widely appreciated throughout the country. In such a situation, on the lines of Prayagraj, the government is also considering providing free travel to pilgrims here.
