Gurukulam for disseminating vedic education

Gurukulam built near the boundary of Rajaji National Park in Aurangabad village, 26 km away from Haridwar main city for disseminating Vedic education. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat and Acharya head of Juna Akhada Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avdheshanand Giri inaugurates the new residential facility built by yoga guru Swami Ramdev which Ramdev said will follow the gurukul system of education. Bhagwat said that through this Gurukulam, Indian education system shall be influenced.

Besides saffron lovers, many Muslim Gram Pradhans in the gathering enhanced the dimensions of the gathering. The Gurukulam is built on a huge land of 22 bighas at a cost of nearly Rs 15 crore. Students in the age group of 9 to 11 years can take admission in class V. The students qualifying in Sanskar camp beginning from December 16 shall be given admission in the Gurukulam.
