The Centre government has increased the dearness allowance (DA) of the state government by three percent. Just before the Lok Sabha elections, the Center has increased the DA, which the Cabinet has decided to give to the state employees. Applicable from 1 January 2019, the DA will be included in the salary of April.
The remaining three months’ salary will go to their GPF. The Cabinet has given to Tehri displaced people a big deal. 70 thousand rupees have been waived for drinking and sewer bills of 10 thousand displaced persons.
For the future payment, a committee under Finance Minister Prakash Pant has been constituted. With the purchase of 300 buses in the transport corporation, 366 operators have been granted admission on contract.
In a Cabinet meeting chaired by chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat on Sunday, 15 of the 17 proposals got stamped. Government spokesman and Cabinet Minister Madan Kaushik told that after increasing the DA, the total DA of state employees has now gone up to 12 percent.
He said that the Cabinet has allowed the installation of three Floating Solar Plants of two hundred MW of Haripura, Tumaria, and Bor in three reservoirs of Udham Singh Nagar. The state government will get 34 crore units of power from this. Fisheries licenses will not be issued in PPP mode where Floating Plants are available.
This has been signed with the Government and Solar Energy Corporation of India. At the same time, the Cabinet gave a green signal to the recruitment of 366 operators in Transport Corporation. With this immediate effect, the corporation has given permission to purchase 20-20 buses and five sets in five consignments with the purchase of 200 new buses.
