Elections 2019: Notice to five candidates, including Ajay Bhatt and Harish Rawat or not giving the correct details of expenditure

Candidates in the campaign for Lok Sabha elections are not giving the correct details of the expenditure. On unmatched details from the account of five candidates, including the BJP candidate, Congress candidate, the Election Commission has sent a notice to them and asked to match the accounts on April 5.

Actually, there are seven candidates, including BJP, Congress candidate, in Nainital Lok Sabha constituency. Candidates have to give details of the expenses incurred in relation to allowance in three dates. Five candidates were Ajay Bhatt of BJP, Harish Rawat of Congress, Kailash Pandey of CPI, engineer Jyoti Prakash Tamta, Prem Prasad Arya and Sukumar Biswas gave details of the expenditure on Monday. In this, only the expenditure incurred by the Commission could only match the expenses of Jyoti Prakash Tamta.

Nodal Officer Election Expenditure Bhupendra Kandpal told that five candidates have been given the notice to give the details of the correct expenditure on April 5. Apart from this, details of expenditure incurred by BSP candidate Navneet Prakash Agarwal have not been given. Notice has been sent to Navneet on April 5 to give details of expenditure.
